Brazil and Argentina Discovered
Our holiday starts in magnificent Rio de Janeiro, with its beautiful beaches and exotic nightlife. Further south we board Brazil's oldest train, the Serra Verde Express, and head into the Atlantic rainforest where we enjoy an easy trek along the Itupava Colonial Trail. We spend time on the beautiful beaches of Honey Island before discovering the Superagui National Park and Pecas Island where we watch for dolphins and Chaua parrots. At Iguazu Falls we witness the water's awesome power on an adventurous boat trip up to the thunderous base of the cascades. At the small town of San Ignacio we explore crumbling red sandstone Jesuit ruins, witness to a bygone era. Heading south, we end our fabulous journey in South America's liveliest city - the huge metropolis of Buenos Aires.
